Hi @webstartm,
THX for ya post.

I’m quite at the beginning growing and running mainly IG accounts.
As I reached the “beginners limits”: free amazon VPS - got far to slow and the amount of IG accounts (3 at the moment), I need to move on to a stronger VPS Solution an Proxies.
Do you mind naming your private Proxy Provider and how much you pay per Proxy?

The instagram proxes are same as dedicated proxies:slight_smile:
The different is proxy providers which test the IP can access to the IG.
I do not know how their test…I choose 5 proxy providers from,
https://www.privateproxyreviews.com/
almost normal dedicated proxies works well on it, So, really no need to pay for more money for that.
specifically some proxy provider offer money back:)

Hey @Johnny you say this is a guide for beginners but it’s only for level 2.
Do you think someone can post the non sensitive information on level 1 ?

The ideal set-up would be:

  • Using residential IPs (coming from actual users and not from server farms), targeted at the city (not only country) level.
  • Resolving the DNS at the peer level (so that the DNS location will be the same as the IP location).
  • Keeping the same IP for each session.
  • No more than 3 accounts through each IP.

The largest pool of residential IPs along with a good proxy management software is offered by Luminati. You can try the datacenter network for free and if you apply for a company account- also get a 7 day trial of the residential network.

I wouldn’t say that Instagram would work any better than you standard ones. Some companies offer especially dedicated proxies for Instagram. I’d suggest you always request a free proxy sample before you buy some. The vendors will always give you some to test out. So it’s not really about the quality of the proxies as such, it’s about what works best for you.
