Hello People Of MassPlanner
After reading the topic Not so fun “not unfollowing” problem. Anyone have this happen? and a comment from Johnny I realized that there may be more things that can be removed off MassPlanner to keep it running smoothly. There is also some settings which can be changed to slow down the clutter making MP easier to manage. So I have decided to open this topic up with some of the things I know speed up MassPlanner.
I would like the community to contribute, and staff to provide feedback on whether or not something is safe, comes with a warning, or is just a big no no. As more people share new ideas, I will add it to this post for easy searching. If a specific action may cause harm, I will add a warning. Make sure read the warning, and ask questions if you dont understand something before proceeding.
DISCLAMER: You should always be careful when deleting files, and you should also note that deleting files and error logs may make it hader to identify a problem for support. That being said proceed with caution.
If you are unsure about following any part of this guide, or if you have concerns, please reply to this topic so others may shed some more insight and help you.

Do This for all Campaigns.
How To Minimize Campaign History

WARNING: There may be problems with this. Waiting for a staff to rate the danger of this tip.
Steps: Click On Settings (underneath tools on the left column), find "Enable Auto Restart Mass Planner After A Minimum Of _____ Hours. Lower this number to 6 hours, or even lower. This is especially good if your computer has a low amount of RAM since it will clear upon re-start.
How To Optimize Your Windows Computer To Use Less Memory
_The less memory your computer uses, the more memory MassPlanner can use _
When you Install programs they include services that are always running even when you are not using that program. That being said if you dont need a program, un-install it to save RAM, CPU, and HDD Memory.
Psst...Skype uses a ton of memory!!!
Get A Cleaning Utility
I recommend CCleaner. Its FREE, and very easy to use. It will both clean junk files, and it will also clean your registry which will dramatically speed up your computer. The best part of all, the entire cleaning process will take less than 30 seconds (It will take up to 10 minutes the first time you use it). I recommend using this tool daily!
Keep Your Computer Cold & Dust Free!!
This sounds silly, but computers work the best in cold envoroments. If your computer is stuck in a little desk with little air circulation it cannot cool down correctly, and gets overheated. Also make sure you get all the dust out of your computer. You can use a vaccume, and or compressed air to blow the dust away from the fans, and heatsinks (make sure your computer is turned off and unplugged).
Enable High Performance Mode
There are 2 different settings where you can increase your performance. Both settings will have their own advantages so I encourage you to do both.
Settings #1 - Go to Control Panel, Click Power Options, and click High Performance (This may be hidden so click the arrow where it says "Show Additional Plans".
Settings #2 - Go to Control Panel, Click System, Click Advanced Settings, Click Adjust For Best Performance, Click Apply, Click OK.
Admins & Staff, please bookmark this topic to ensure no one (including myself) provided incorrect information, or dangerous information. The goal of this topic is to keep MP running smoothly, not the other way arround. If you could also rate each tip on a scale of 1/10 for dangers, and possible some warnings on what to be careful of that would be great!
