# Broken Instagram DM sending section!?

Hi guys  
I have this problem for several hours:

> In the web version of Instagram, when we search for an ID to send a message to that person, Instagram does not find any person (the ID is correct!) The ID search is broken in the Instagram direct sending section.

Occasionally, Instagram experiences technical issues or downtime. Check Instagram’s official status page or their social media accounts to see if there are any reported problems. If so, you may need to wait for them to resolve it.
