If I run a business account, is it possible to gain like 500-1000 followers within a month with fb ads? and how much would it cost and is it a traffic option?

Depends upon niche, audience, budget. You can get a bunch of 3rd world followers for a couple of bucks, but they probably won’t do your business any good.
