Hi there! Today I will show how you can easy setup own proxies.
So what we need?
We need only cheapest Ubuntu 14 server + additional IPs ( 1 additional IP = 1 proxy )
I suggest to you get server here : https://my.frantech.ca
So let's start!
Go by my link and press "ORDER HOSTING" and we are on order page. In Categories we can choose location ( Las Vegas, New Jersey and Luxemburg ), also be sure that you ordering OpenVZ. Sometimes cheapest one ( for $1.99 ) server is not available, so you can choose different location, or wait day or two, when it will be available. Or you can order more powerful server ( $3.50 ).
IMPORTANT!!! Calculate about 10-12 additional IPs per 128MB !!!IMPORTANT
Ok, then press ORDER NOW button
Service name: just put anything there
Operating system: Ubunty 14.04
Additional IP: How many proxy we need
OKey. So add to card and pay for it
You will get email when your server will be ready.
Okey, here start's the interesting part!
Okey we got login details ( we need to login here - https://manage.buyvm.net , it's admin panel, frantech is only for payments )
We are in and go to Console tab and Change Serial Console Password.
There also we will see Node IP Address and username.
Now we need to download PuTTy. In putty we enter our node ip and press open. Enter your username and password.
If you don't know how to PASTE to putty it's simple. Instead of CTRL+V we just press RIGHT-CLICK.
So we are in. And just follow my commands below. We will install some libs, and if server asks like (y/n) we allways press y !
HOW TO USE NANO: after you make changes in file - control+o saves it and control+x exits
Working 3proxy.cfg is at the end of the post. Make sure you edit it like you need, before you start setup server.
apt-get -y install fail2ban software-properties-common
apt-get install nano
apt-get install build-essential libevent-dev libssl-dev
tar zxvf 3proxy-0.7.1.1.tgz
now we need to paste
#define ANONYMOUS 1
and save file. ( after you make changes in file - control+o saves it and control+x exits )
Looks like this.
make -f Makefile.Linux
make -f Makefile.Linux install
Here we paste our 3proxy.cfg & save
Here we need here to change file directions, and delete or comment /etc/3proxy/bin/3proxy
Looks like this, but i added txt vestion at end of the post just to copy & paste.
Let's start our proxy server:
sh scripts/rc.d/proxy.sh start
If it writes only Starting 3Proxy it's working good, but if there is some errors, there is smth wrong in your config, or proxy.sh
Let's add it to autorun:
and add line:
sh /etc/3proxy/scripts/rc.d/proxy.sh start
Save it and it's done!
How to config:
[ns1] & [ns2] - we find them on manage.buyvm.net in Networking tab -> Gateways, Netmasks, & Resolvers -> Resolver #1 and Resolver #2
[LOGIN] - replace with your login
[PASSWORD] - replace with your password
[ip1] & [ip2] - Okey. So here we write ips that will be your proxies. 1 ip per line. We can get our IPs in Networking tab.
So we config all ips exept internal. BTW we can use servers IP, so we have 1 IP bonus.
Also if you want to change port, just change 3128 to your port.
timeouts 1 5 30 60 180 1800 15 60
log /etc/3proxy/log/3proxy.log D
logformat "- +_L%t.%. %N.%p %E %U %C:%c %R:%r %O %I %h %T"
archiver rar rar a -df -inul %A %F
proxy -p3128 -a -i[ip1] -e[ip1]
proxy -p3128 -a -i[ip2] -e[ip2]
I don't know how to attach files to post, and forum s breaking the code, so i upload here
no need to edit, just copy & paste
Your proxies are alive. If you have any questions, feel free to ask
Maybe it looks hard, but trust me it's not. When you will do it for first time, it will be very simple for you !
