Hello again everyone, it's time for yet another quick guide...
Since a lot of people are promoting different stuff over social media networks, You all witnessed that it is getting harder each day to post domains and links on social media networks without getting in trouble... Especially if the links are affilate links, or different kind of promotions etc. So we need to be prepared and to have bunch of tricks in our sleeves so we can mix up our strategies and adapt and be always one step ahead of everyone. So it's important for us to learn new stuff on daily basis so we can adapt when the time come... That's why i really like this forum, cause it's full of interesting people and there is a lot that can be learned here, for both users as well as massplanner team members...
So today i wanted to discuss about how we can trick facebook in letting us promote a link in a direct way without banning us. First let me say that one of the best strategies when trying to beat a major platform like Facebook in this instance is to use it against itself... That means we need to find a way how to use platforms resources against it... One great way of that kind of strategy posted i think it was @Adnan , with his trick with posting on facebook using hashtags instead of domains... It's a great trick and it's excatly the same principle we can use again...
So what we will need?
Here is the recipe:
- One fresh facebook page (any page will do really)
- One static html Iframe (Search for app on the facebook search engine)
- Half a spoon of java script redirect code
We stir it all up and bake in oven for half an hour:)
What we will get is a facebook page that will redirect to the domain of our choosing!
This is how the final link would look like:
(of course we can make this link more pretty with some help of any url shortner you prefer)
Here is how to do it :
1) Go to your freshly created page
2) Add static html iframe to your page (by installing app you find in fb search)
3) Select on which page you want static iframe to be installed on
4) Press Set Up Tab button
6)Click on "Welcome" tab on your main page
7) Copy the redirect link page url from search bar:
And VOILA!!! You got yourself your first facebook page redirect Congrats!
You can also make your facebook page look nice, and be a kind of a pre-landing page for your link... and even though it will be visible just for few seconds, it will work better if the page look nice.
Don't forget you have you can track stats of your redirect link
Similar concept can be used on other platforms as well... Keep in mind that you can also combine different platforms, usually you can use one platform to be able to post on other platform... for example posting youtube link on facebook or posting facebook redirect page on instagram etc... there are all sorts of different combinations you can try... One of them will surely work!
There you have it... So enjoy playing around with these posting strategies.
