Have anyone tried it in order to earn some extra money? Do they scare off the visitor and lower your EPC too much? What about pop unders?

Personally, I wouldn’t do that. Especially popunders, you’ll get literally 0 CR rate on your CPA offer if you add popunders there.

I was managing one FB page with 450K likes, we monetized the website with popunders and lost 5K likes in couple of weeks. People hate those and hit back button as soon as they see it.
