It’s not a bad idea, but even though you feel as I youll be able to find out easily if someone bought fake followers, you would be surprised some peoplease have some pretty large networks(25-59k), and for the purpose of them having such large networks, even to the trained eye… the accounts actually do appear as if they’re organic. I think sticking with the best guide would probably be the best way to weed out any chance of fraud.
