Terms of Service

Effective date: August 12, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of the MP Social community at mpsocial.com. MP Social is operated by SocialWorks SRL (referred to below as “MP Social”, “we”, “us”, or “the company”). By accessing or using the forum, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines.

If you do not agree, do not use the forum.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use MP Social. If the law where you live requires a higher minimum age or parental consent, that requirement also applies. You may not use the forum if we have told you that your access is suspended or terminated.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the activity that takes place through your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. Provide a valid email address, keep it up to date, and notify the moderation team promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Do not impersonate another person or organization, create accounts to evade restrictions, sell or transfer accounts, or use another person’s account without permission.

3. Acceptable use

You may not use MP Social to:

  • break the law or help others do so;
  • post or distribute malware, phishing material, spam, deceptive promotions, or other harmful content;
  • harass, threaten, exploit, defame, or expose another person’s private information;
  • infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, contractual, or other rights;
  • manipulate forum systems, votes, trust levels, flags, or other community signals;
  • bypass security or access controls, scrape private areas, or place an unreasonable load on the service;
  • falsely imply that MP Social endorses you, your content, or your products; or
  • interfere with other members’ use of the forum.

The Community Guidelines form part of these terms and provide practical rules for participation.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You give MP Social a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, publish, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate, secure, promote, and improve the forum. This license continues for copies that remain in backups, quotations, replies, or other members’ lawful reuse after the original content is removed.

Except where a different notice applies, public contributions continue to be made available under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 3.0 license, consistent with MP Social’s previous terms. This does not apply to private messages, personal data, MP Social branding, or third-party material that you do not have the right to license.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights and permissions needed for everything you submit. We are not required to store content indefinitely or provide you with copies, although account export tools may be available.

5. Marketplace activity

MP Social includes marketplace areas where members may describe, offer, request, buy, or sell products and services. Unless MP Social explicitly says otherwise, SocialWorks SRL is not the buyer, seller, payment processor, employer, agent, or guarantor in a transaction between members.

Members are responsible for evaluating offers, complying with applicable laws and category rules, keeping appropriate records, paying applicable taxes and fees, and resolving transaction disputes. Never assume that a listing, review, badge, trust level, or account age is a guarantee. We may remove listings, restrict marketplace access, or act against accounts when necessary to protect the community, but we do not promise to investigate or resolve every dispute.

6. Moderation and enforcement

We may review, move, edit, hide, or remove content and may restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts when we reasonably believe this is necessary to enforce these terms or the guidelines, protect members or the service, respond to legal requests, or prevent abuse.

Moderators do not pre-approve every post. Content submitted by members represents those members, not MP Social. If you see a problem, use the forum’s flagging tools rather than escalating the situation publicly.

7. Third-party services and links

The forum may link to or integrate services operated by others, including optional sign-in providers. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices. MP Social is not responsible for third-party services, websites, products, transactions, or content.

8. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we use it, which service providers may process it, how long it may be retained, and the choices and rights available to you.

9. Availability and changes to the service

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, categories, or the forum itself. We aim to keep the service available and secure, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation or permanent storage of any content.

10. Disclaimers

To the extent allowed by law, MP Social and all content on it are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of accuracy, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Advice, listings, recommendations, and other member content should be independently evaluated before you rely on them.

Nothing in these terms excludes warranties or rights that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, SocialWorks SRL and its officers, staff, moderators, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from use of the forum or member transactions.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

12. Your responsibility

To the extent allowed by law, you agree to compensate SocialWorks SRL for losses, claims, and reasonable costs caused by your unlawful use of the forum, your violation of these terms, or content you submit without the necessary rights. This does not apply where prohibited by applicable consumer law.

13. Termination

You may stop using the forum at any time and may request account closure through your preferences or by contacting us. Provisions that by their nature should continue—such as licenses already granted, responsibility for prior conduct, disclaimers, and limits of liability—survive termination.

14. Applicable law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law applicable to SocialWorks SRL and the forum, subject to any mandatory rights you have under the law where you live. Courts with jurisdiction under applicable law may hear disputes. Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us so that we can try to resolve the issue informally.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes to the forum, our practices, or applicable requirements. We will publish the current version here and update the effective date. When a change is material, we may also notify members through the forum or by email. Continued use after the effective date of an update means that the updated terms apply, to the extent permitted by law.

16. Contact

Questions about these terms may be sent to contact@mpsocial.com. Service and account questions may also be sent to admin@mpsocial.com.

This document replaces the previous MP Social terms for use of the forum.
