📣 My experience, my viewpoint API update, 508 block

your test is not good my friend
yes you let the account rest for 3 days
but if you don’t clear your cookie and log out from the EB and log back in and in some cases even do a rest id
its continue to get the block because it flagged

I actually did all of those things
I cleared the cookies and logged out and rested for 3 days.
It still did not work for this account
However, on some accounts logging out and logging back in works temporarily.

I work on this everyday, here is what I have discovered today:
I have noticed when I switch from unfollowing to following, I almost always receive the 508.
However, the accounts that are only using the follow tool every day are receiving zero 508s.
Somehow when you switch back and forth between F and U, it triggers something in IG and you get the 508.
So, I am going to never turn off the following tool, just reduce the number of follows to like 10-20 when I do have to unfollow.
I think it could be key to not completely switch off the following tool

Also, disabling the Auto Synch feature may be helpful.
I noticed on one of my accounts I forget to disable this feature and it as soon as it auto-synched, the account immediately received the 508.
The account had followed 115 people today with no problem until the auto-sych activated

i do some checked now and all my accounts haveing auto sync every 2 hours
and i don’t have block problem with them
i have only blocks problem with my main account
and its make me crazy :exploding_head:

What does auto-sync do?

I switched this off on 5 accounts for two weeks, saw no change when I switched the auto-sync back on.
My conclusion is that it’s not a significant issue. Seen no issues since when auto-sync works. Been running for a month since.

As I understand it the auto-synch will synch how many follows and followings each account is doing.
I am not sure if it has an effect on the 508, but I did notice one account received a 508 as soon as the account auto-synched.
There must be some type of API sent/received and that could trigger the 508.
However, I am not really sure.
I am just testing different things every single day, attempting to find a solution to this 508.
If anyone has found a solution that works for them, please post.
Thank you

Are you not receiving the 508 on any of your accounts?

My accounts were going good for awhile, and then a huge 508 wave came again (past few days). If you follow instagram on reddit it seems like a lot of normal people are getting the blocks too, so its probably IG tweaking with their algo again. When will this end

Was sharing a 4G proxy with two accounts without proper warm up and that gave me the 508 issues. Running one account per proxy immediately fixed the problems. Warming up a second account on the proxy now very slowly.
Accounts running on residential proxy no issues with 508.
I am travelling right now but will set up more proxies when I get back.
Running 130-150 F/U per day safely for a month or more.

True,
I follow some French Facebook Instagram group about mainly organic growth and some people receive AC without using any bot.
So yeah, it seems that instagram is ON FIRE, ready to destroy anything that act not properly even if it has to imply collateral damage lol.

As a consequence, I hope that they don’t damage the trust score of the accounts as easily as they block…

My accounts performed a considerable amount of actions and then I started to receive 508s, sort of received a wave, most of my accounts running on residential. It’s probably IG updating again.

Getting 508 errors on the new update. Support told me that 508 is just what they send when IG tells you to “please wait a few minutes…”

The problem is unless the account was private, MP should not get that error because it is supposed to detect that, and then switch to one of the users posts.

Which would mean you should never get it when unfollowing.

I got today 2 ACs, one of them to my best customer, who was not ever hit with 508…
I stop all tools and will have a break for today!

I am experiencing this exact same problem now. new client, aged account. within first 13 actions total across 48hrs, blocks on f/uf. :frowning:

So many 508 blocks on Likes and F/UF. Tried various settings, warm ups, clear cookies, switching proxies, rest, logout/login, reset ID’s, etc etc. Nothing clears them.

Give me back the EB from two weeks ago and I could survive forever.

Send all your logs to support everybody. Lets get this 508 figured out.

508’s everywhere. I’ve tried everything. resting, switching proxies, clearing cookies, reseting ID’s some work for a few actions some do 1 and then get 508s again. Its been a week now of 80% of my accounts not being able to get past the 508.

Are you working with API or EB?

Instagram is switching between different strategies every 1-2 weeks in my opinion.
If you have problems with 508’s you definetely should run one phone manually with 5 accounts and do similar actions to your botted ones to understand how to counter react to their actions.
For example, glitch no.1 (present from early 2014)
When you keep close to your action limit by doing manual follows IG app lags for a second with checking the followed accounts. Write the amounts down. Write down everything what you do, all errors and AC. Study this data and implement in your strategy. Many people who reached to me for help were making mind blowing mistakes, but they assumed they’ve tried everything. 508’s are not caused by J.
I got no 508’s, but I know what to do to get them (tested)
