So I don’t know if this is new but I spend plenty of time on IG and never saw something like this. The way it works is that someone puts you, Instagram official acc and himself in a group chat and sends a message then leaves the chat so it looks like it comes directly from Instagram.
Also the interesting part is their domain instagram.com-verify.co This is smart and could trick so many people… this needs to be spread so IG cracks down on them. Their actual domain is com-verify.co and you can look up whois here http://whois.domaintools.com/com-verify.co
