From june 20 approx i have experienced my posts getting less reach through hashtags and explore reach has been increased but i was getting 14k to 25k likes before now my likes hardly hits 10k.
Posts quality is same even trying to post better but posts are not going viral like before through hashtags even daily new followers are decreased all time low.
I was wondering if someone experiencing same issue.
Yeah. If you go on reddit or even look at the recent hashtags topics on this forum you see that everyone is singing the same song.
prior to June 19, Insta was in a good feed. Reach/Likes high – June 16 the peak. It goes up and down depending the rates of updates – also 3 insta downtimes since the 20th. Now today it seems to level off at a mid-low point and the peak insta times yet to come --September to December for the majority of accounts – these based on historical data I have seen. However, with Covid – it seems its unpredictable now.
I haven’t noticed any negative effects, from what I measure.
I’ve actually seen the opposite in many ways.
But its nothing noteworthy or anything I haven’t seen before.
And the accounts I run are built a little differently to mitigate the effects of insta’s algo changes if they do occur.
However, like @Alexnvo noted, there are waves of peaks & valleys on the platform when it comes to activity flow. Sometimes you benefit, sometimes you’ll have to wait.
Hang around long enough and you’ll see this is a normal thing.
Don’t get caught up in it too much. Focus on what you can control
same here, changes in Reach and likes i think they are testing new stuff again, there are some big changes coming but no idea when or what.
