Automating likes and follow unfollow without blocks - Updated method 2020

I don’t think I was even automating still back in february. I stopped a few months after the big update, and just started back a couple months ago.

That’s the crazy thing with algorithm, it’s changing constantly… what you can’t do today, maybe you can do tomorrow, and then maybe 12 weeks from now won’t be able to do it again.

The one advice I always give people who are new(and they usually don’t like to hear it in the beginning), is that in order to get anywhere with automation… on any platform, is constant testing. You can’t depend on anyone else’s settings and expect them to work for you, as their are too many variables t.

Even when things are running smoothly, its good to keep separate accounts running just for testing purposes cause you never know when a change will be implemented.

Exactly! i agree 100%, just keep testing, u might find your OWN secret sauce.

Day 2 of Automation:

No blocks today. Scrappers still alive too.

very true even with Manual Growth we are always keep testing different strategies , and thats why right now we rarely get block

I don’t understand something here. You are using scrapers for getting the users from hashtags, or feeds. Besides URLs.

The thing is that from hashtags and feed, you’d be getting just the username. When u use those in the “like/follow specific users” it just search in the bar the username and then does the action. So, there it’s irrelevant from where you are pulling from the sources. It’ll just make the scraper looks more natural/human. Not the main account.

Do you understand me ?

David.

Scrappers just return URL, which form the mojor part of the posts to like. The main account itself searches for posts using hashtags, explore page, feed etc.

Oh, I understand it clearly now. So the tagname scraping method can’t be used within your strategy.

Thanks man. Very very smart strategy!

David.

Day 3 of automation:

No blocks. Scrapper died, replaced the scrapper

looking good, but you should slow down on the LIKE tool, you might get into some issues later.

He is proving that he can do 700-800+ likes daily for around 10-15 days in a row without issues.

Day 4 of automation:

No blocks. Scrapper good

I am rather proving that anyone can do it and that keeping it to 400 a day to be a safe limit is not fair assessment (Unless ofcourse, the account is already flagged previously)

api or eb ?

I use API alone

Day 5 of automation:

No blocks. Scrapper still alive

While i did more than 300 yesterday between this time and EOD, another 900 were today. So definitely 1200+ in 24hours is a possibility. I am not sure if doing 1200 each day would be sustainable, but such spikes are possible. Once the first 10days are over, i will try to do 1000+ a day and see how long it can continue

it’s not that you can’t do those numbers, it’s a question of how long you can keep doing that at one point IG will detect that as an aggressive act and the account will be blocked.

I tried the same using the follow tool i was able to do more than +400 follow a day for almost a week and then I got blocked, so if you are looking for long term automation better to keep it safe.

I am certain that 800 a day for a prolonged period is possible, I already tested that for more than a month previously on a few accounts. But the tests were on my personal computer on J while i actually use another software “that we dont know about” on VPS. So i do not have the screenshots of those stats now and hence i am just doing this for the record.

I also think that liking 800 a day is not really abnormal for hyper active users. But following 400 everyday is unusual. So may be thats the reason for the block?

What about the follow-back ratio?

Do you think it might be better to do alone (it’s silly question but just to simplify things) 1000 likes in a day or 200 follows?

I dont think doing just one action would do the account any good. Its my personal opinion. Others opinions might vary

yeah could be that IG see them as very different actions i mean one is more spammy then the other one, as i said i tested that on the follow tool not the like one but i will be following your test to see what will happen
