Ban for fake followers?

Hello, if I buy many fake followers - can my account got ban for this ?

I personally doubt it, because one could kill their competition this way easily.

So ban could be combination of Few factors

  • sudden increase of SAME fake followers on a GROUP of accounts
  • AI detected same bio link in the group
  • group never used IG app
  • some other similarities for the GROUP

I have never experienced this but IG might have changed

Wouldn’t make sense for that to happen, because then people would just buy fakes for competitors and get them banned.
