Best position and banners in blogs?

Hey guys,

What are the best positions and sizes of the banners you use in your blogs?

Mine, the square ones in the middle of the articles.
The ones in the sidebars dosent have a lot of clicks, neither the ones in the top. Sometimes I put one horizontal after the videos, and they have good engagement.

Every blog is different. You use an actual banner in the middle of your blog? Do you mean the same size as the header image?

Not hat big.
Normally a 250x250 In the middle of the text.
After the videos a rectangular one.

I think squares in the middle of content probably get the most accidental clicks, which could boost conversions, but I guess that depends on the ad/platform too.

Skyscraper sidebar and horizontal ones at the top seem to be pretty useless imo.
