Book recommendations

Hey all,

So I need some help picking out some books to read!

I just finished the compound effect a couple of days ago and I’m half-way through the 4 hour work week. I have a library of books that I have not read and I’m not sure which to start on next. FYI the 4 hour work week is great for anyone who’s into making money through automation!

Please only recommend business/self development books!

Would you share the list of book you have we will help you pick some and this may inspire up to explore some new books!!

Just finished The Slight Edge. The concept of the book is what makes other self-development books work.
A MUST for entrepreneurs.

I will definitely check some of these books out! I think I’ve got a few of them at home :stuck_out_tongue:

I’ve decided on the next 2 books I will be reading:

The Richest Man in Babylon - George Samuel Clason

Scientific Advertising
DotCom Secrets
Ogilvy on advertising

Sales/Persuasion:
Influence: Psychology of Persuasion
Exactly What to Say: The Magic Words for Influence and Impact
I personally haven’t found many books that actually teach you how to sell in the post-trust era, most of them are outdated. Courses have been much, much more valuable.

Mindset/Psychology:
Psycho-Cybernetics
The Science of Getting Rich

General stuff that I recommend for everyone to read:
The Power Of Now
Man’s Search for Meaning
My Personal MBA
The 48 Laws of Power

Yeah Sam Ovens teaches sales pretty well, Consulting Accelerator is great. Another great sales course is 7-figure sales secrets by Jeremy Miner, I actually think Sam got a lot of his sales principles from him lol

I would highly recommend 2 great self help books I recently read.

Chimp Paradox by Steve Peters

12 rules for life by J Peterson

The last one I would say is a hard read and touches on a lot of topics but it does help a lot to get your life in perfect order (helped me at least)
