Can you please get back to work? #Bitchslap

The forum over the last few weeks has become a melting pot of negativity, bitching and complaining so I figured it is time to address a few things and bitch slap some people.

STOP COMPLANING

“Oh I miss the good old days when I could spam my way to the top of Instagram / could follow 1000 people per day / could like 10 000 posts per day / proxies were dirt cheap / blah blah blah”

Yeah?

What were you doing when those “good” old times were the current times?

More complaining.

“Oh I wish I had found this place earlier / if I knew what I know now 3 months ago…”

I doubt you were maxing it all that you could do and thanking the stars every day. It is just human nature.

Good only becomes good when things have become worse.

3 months from now, THIS TIME is going to be the good old time.

So, reverse that BS mindset and take it as the opportunity that it is. If you ask any (good) investor, they would tell you that real money is made when the market is down.

Well, the IG market is down.

And you should be thankful.

Yup.

Thankful!

If you manage clients, you can scrape new ones in bulk as everyone else is probably in the mega threads of this forum and BHW complaining while their clients are dropping left and right. All you need to do is provide them with a reasonable growth, over communicate to them what is going on what you plan on doing about it and watch your client base explode.

If you are in this for yourself, same shit as above. All your competition, or at least most of it is driving themselves insane as the usual things are not working, panels are not delivering their daily dose of fake likes and OMG the world is ending. In the mean time, your market is starving for good quality content.

So, please, get off the complain train and get to work!

GIGO - Garbage In Garbage Out

The times when you can slap together some crappy spintax bio, make up a username by stringing thesaurus words together, filling that account with repost content on autopilot and hooking that garbage up to a $0.10 Russian proxy are gone.

Now, quality rules.

Quality takes time. Takes effort. Takes putting some thinking behind it. Takes research.

Its not easy.

But, you know what the good news is?

It is not easy for your competition either.

Most have been accustomed to the lazy bulk pushing of crappy accounts and crappy content and most of them are going to either quit or be forgotten by the market.

That is your golden opportunity. Be original, be creative, put some quality stuff out and watch your account(s) explode.

If you are beaten by someone, it won’t be by some hacker kid who managed to figure out a way to see a billion stories per day, it will be by that dude or dudette who are working on amazing content while you are here trying to outsmart the algorithm of a billion dollar company with an army of engineers whose only job is to figure out how to crush your crappy accounts.

And honestly, the current limits of 6000/30 (if they are true, which is a topic of another conversation) should be plenty. If you cannot grow an account with 6000 freaking actions per month, you are clearly not optimized for quality.

If you have a great profile (bio, picture, CTA, etc), great content, great captions, great hashtags, great sources and settings allowing you to follow and possibly like posts of 3000 - 4000 people per month, you are engaging with your crowd, replying to comments, posting stories and all of that is running on a quality proxy - there is no possible way for your account not to grow, fast!

So, drop that shortcut mentality and get back to work.

BE SMART

People are desperate.

You can see it on the forum in every other thread.

Some bad apples will take advantage of your desperation and they will find a way to separate you from your money or worse, from your accounts.

You can read threads of people trying to figure out a way to transfer money into Yandex so they can pay for a mass viewing Russian site someone told them about.

They close their eyes and pray it won’t be a scam. Not because they are being smart about it or cautious or because they did some research… but because they so desperately want it to work out.

If it is too good to be true… chance are something is off.

Say you do manage to pay $20 so you can transfer $7 to Yandex so you can pay for supposedly zillion story views per day for your account. What do you really expect to happen? Wake up the next day and your account has magically grown by 1000 raving followers?

Really?

If it was that easy, do you think they would sell it for that cheap? Or that everyone with $10 to their name and an IG account won’t be using it?

Put your thinking cap on and get back to work.

TAKE OWNERSHIP

“I expect my software to solve the problem, why am I paying them less than what I pay for coffee if I don’t have all my problems solved! / Ah, IG is the devil, how dare they change things, they hate us all / IG does not care for the small guy / Noone is willing to share the magic solution in this or any other forum / WTB - a person who will run my business for me, preferably for little to no pay”

You can read it all.

Your accounts, your business, your responsibility.

No one owes you anything. No one will solve your problems. And while throwing some money at the problem might get you somewhere, it will for sure not solve your issues.

Do you really really really think you can hire someone to run your accounts for you? If they were that good, do you really think they won’t be busy making a killing for themselves instead of for you?

Do you really think if someone had a magic solution to all problems (which of course does not exist) they owe it to you to come and share it (for free)?

Some people have figured out some things.

They are either too busy making use of them or they have turned them into a business, so they can extract some cash out of it.

As you should be doing for yourself.

Test, test, test some more. Figure things our for yourself as noone is really coming to solve your problems for you.

Has it ever worked out like that in your life before?

Stop waiting, take ownership and get back to work.

To sum it all up: get back to work.

And I will define “work” for anyone who needs it: creating good quality, original content that you are not ashamed to put your real name to OR providing the best possible service for the clients who have trusted you with their accounts and possibly with their businesses.

In either case, quality is and will always be the ultimate separator of things.

I will leave you with a final parting thought - do you want to be easy so everyone can be your competition or do you want to be hard so only the ones putting in the work can play in the sandbox?

  • YES, I will get back to work now
  • NO, I’ll bitch around the forum until all my issues have magically solved themselves

Great point about the potential new clients out there at this turbulent time - and it’s the bright light I’m looking at, as somebody who is motivated and just started learning a couple of months ago.

Nice trolling @Brisk0  See you around the forum!

Completely agree with everything you said @MojoJojo!

Hopefully people have learned from this whole fiasco not to promise the world to people (clients) for $90.00 a month.

Think like a client, not like an Instagram marketer. To us, 600 real, organic, and targeted followers gained each month might not be a lot, but to Joe Schmo, who hasn’t been able to gain more than 3 followers in a month, 600 real, organic, and targeted followers gained each month would be more than enough. Imagine being able to pay someone to help you gain 7200 real, organic, and targeted followers over the course of a year if you’re on pace to gain 36 followers a year.

P.S. Low paying clients are always the hardest to deal with and I recommend avoiding them if you don’t want to have a mental breakdown on a daily basis by the time you reach your 2nd year of entrepreneurship.

I hear your bad experience in those words, so damn right.
100% agree (due to personal experience).

Yes! Things only got better once we raised our rates.

Wise words. Actually, I was really thinking these days, when do people have time to complain when now it’s sooo much to do with testing and reevaluating, etc. And it’s an awesome opportunity to stand out from the crowd and INCREASE the mot_er fuc_ing prices. Yes, increase it! It’s harder for us, it’s way more harder for average Joe that doesn’t know jack sh*t about IG. If it’s hard, just grind your way to the top or at least be better than average.

In process lol

This was something I had to work on getting over. This is the most significant thing most must get over. I mentioned this a few times over other forums as well. We often value ourselves according to the market instead of seeing the value of what we offer to someone as you’ve described. My price rises are reflecting this. That’s one thing I’m glad for with this whole “dark age.” When things resume, my business doesn’t change since I never relied on mass actions, only quality & conservative actions. I always knew it was way under priced, even to market standards.

This is the perfect time to restructure & reorganize to reprice.

Just raised my rates from $180 to $300 per month for all new customers.

For existing customers I raised it $50 additional per month (various rates). I’ve only invoiced 20% of my clients so far and let them know about new pricing, but they’ve all agreed.

Coming out of this making more money. No time to complain. No time to look in the past. Lets goooo!

nice to see a good old fashioned kick up the butt!
As a newbie to the forum it was a bit of a drag to consistently see everyone going off about how instagram was the enemy when they are the reason we all have this platform to work on.

A great message with plenty of positive reinforcement…lets go get it!
