Can't get the email to reset password

Hey guys,

When I try to get the email (from the desktop) to reset the password of an Instagram account. I have a message saying something like: We can’t send you the reset email. Please contact Instagram. (not the actual wording but very similar).

I don’t want to try to log out from the mobile, just in case… and yes, of course, I have forgotten the pwd (that’s the reason why I ask for the reset).

Did someone experienced the same? Any idea?

It would be best to copy the text or screen shot it.

I would try it via the app, just do not log out. Some people say switching #'s helps for this.

I have something similar. IG is saying: “The username you entered doesn’t belong to an account. Please check your username and try again.” and I know the username and pass are good. When I try to reset the pass, I get this:

I would send your logs with screenshots/username to MP support.

After 10 mins I got the message to verify the acc through my email address. I’ve done that and everything is working fine again.

I think the problem is due to the proxy. It was down for a couple of hours.
