Change Device ID on Android

I’ve searched this on youtube but only found old videos with more dislikes than likes.

Is it possible to change the Device ID on an Android phone where IG recognizes it as a different device?

May I ask what the benefit of doing this is? I have an account that I think may be blacklisted so I was thinking about changing my device ID before logging in again

Just root your android device and install some apps and you are good to go :slight_smile:

At a minimum, you would want to change Device ID, Mobile IP, GPS location (even on a minor scale), and make sure you have cleaned app data or build “good” cookies, prior to logging in.

There are a few other adjustment you can make from a device standpoint but those generally cover most apps.
