Change IG accounts' e-mail

Hi guys,

I was wondering which of these methods do you use to protect your accounts when they have already got a big amount of followers:

  1. Do you change the e-mail password and password recovery information only?

Or

  1. Do you create a new e-mail (let’s say gmail) and change it?

P.S.: Is it safe to change the accounts’ e-mail? Which e-mail service you think is the best/safer one?

If you buy accounts and plan to grow them, then you need to change this info. You should also change password on email that is used for account creation and remove any data from there that would allow the seller to get access to that email again.

Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo… those are the oldest and most popular email providers, so, I somehow believe the account has more authority if you use these emails.

Is the PW and E-mail change safe from PV, or it has a chance to trigger PV? sry the newb question, but that is my reason why i haven’t change a thing till now after i bought accounts.

change your email and two step authentication and just go manual

Hey @cyporr Just saw this message so sorry for a late response.
In my time, when ever I change info on an account it has about a 50% chance of triggering a PV never really a EV for me, only when adding new (paid for/ aged) accounts.

There is a chance for it to trigger PV.

@Jay_20 could you elaborate a little more on the method your talking about? maybe linke to a thread if you have one that you’ve seen? thanks m8, I just haven’t heard of this method yet.

sure thing. the two step authentication is within the instagram app itself. click options in the upper right hand corner, scroll down, under account you will see “Two-Factor Authentication” it will show “require security code” turn that on. You will have to add a phone number but it will send you a code every time you login. once i have a big account i just go manual and do this just incase.
