One of our clients has a verified IG account that he is locked out of. He knows the password but somehow two-factor authentication was enabled without his knowledge and he has never used two-factor before and doesn’t have access to the back up codes. Any idea how we can contact IG support to get this resolved? He can verify his identity with them if needed.
Was the account hacked? I think your client should check his phone to see if there’s a 2FA app on his phone.
