Hey guys,
first of all excuse my poor English, its not my first language, hope everyone can understand regardless
as I have noticed, most of you also manage clients accounts and since we are in automation business I would like to open discussion how to automate other processes in the company, such as payments from clients.
Our company offers month-to-month service, just like Spotify, you pay for 1 month - you get 1 month worth of service. A lot of businesses we work with arent necessarily used to using PayPal and recurring payments in general, so what often happens is that they pay late (sometimes matter of days, sometimes even weeks) that is a hassle for me and is in some cases upleasant to send reminders etc.
We do not offer “trials” and they dont have problems paying up front, even before first month, we have strong portfolio full of clients with great results, so proof of concept isnt an issue.
What works for you? How do you invoice your clients? Share your experience! and everybody have a nice day!
I’m also interested to know this!
Paypal is pay in the ass for me. Wondering what alternatives can be used for clients
Also, in which countries it is cheaper to create a social media agency? Because in my country the taxes are so damn high
I am using whmcs billing system its best for selling web hosting but i edited for these insta services. Paypal recurring payments only and bank wire transfer but for this one minimum 3 months upfront payment and if client is late to pay because it can happen i send 2 reminders after that if still not pay suspend.
We use bank transfers, we provide the bank account (IBAN) and the clients just transfer the money, 100% have an e-banking solution, web or app. Also we encourage them to setup the recurrent payments, doable in the app as well, so they don’t forget to send it risking the pause of our services that’s my speech and works perfectly.
I’ll do it similarly. Nowadays, pretty much everyone here has access to online banking and can set up recurring payments. If they don’t just send them a reminder to pay. After all, they are a business and are used to things like that.
After all, it comes down to the business or the individual you are working with however. If it is a fairly tech-savy or tech-foward guy/company, I could setup something like PayPal payments.
Thing is though, paypal takes fees away from you, so I really prefer working with regular bank transfers.
