Hi guys, as per the title, is it known whether deleting hashtags from a post after certain amount of time is somehow penalized by IG? What I usually do is, 24 hrs after posting, I usually delete the hashtags for the post in question so now if I look back into my profile none of the posts have hashtags. Could that be considered a bad practice?
I would probably leave hashtags on your posts for at least 48-72 hours. A lot of posts get likes gradually these days as opposed to instantly due to the explore page and top 9 sections being more curated for specific users.
As far as if Instagram penalizes people for deleting hashtags, I’ve never heard of that happening. In fact, a lot of people have deleted hashtags from their posts to get rid of occasional shadowbans.
