Do New Accounts Get More Exposure Than Existing Accounts?

I am about to launch a new IG page.

I have 2 options on which account to launch the page:

  1. Brand New IG Account - I heard a brand new account gets more exposure for your reels and on the explore page.

I can buy 3K fake followers to make this look established beforehand

  1. 6 Mo Old Account - I have a 6 mo old account with 4,000 fake followers and prior engagement that I haven’t touched in months

Which option should I choose?

IMHO the first options, grown it naturally for a month and after you can decide (by seeing the result) to use some slow automation or increase with good fake followers.

Don’t use fake followers it will screw you in the long run.
