Email verification sent to another email [WTF]

Hey people,

I bought few days ago some scrapers from a seller on this forum.

Some of them got Email verification - not a big deal nowadays. So I just connected through EB and checked if I can get the code via email. But then this happened:

The email is not the same…? I asked to the account seller and he told me in private he never sold any d***.com account (I also had emails with gmail.com or hotmail.com ending).

How is that possible? Is it a bug or I’m missing something?

The seller might have used a fake email to register the account then switched once it successfully registered. Are these old hacked accounts? Instagram loves to revert back to the previous original email.

That’s one probability yes.

He also asked me to wait few days to see if the issue will be resolved on its own.

I don’t think those are hacked accounts tho

What master shaneblay1 said is true, i have simmiliar problem and seller said accs he sells was created on fake email and then real email was added and if ig see something suspicious they will revert your ev to old first email…

Adding on to what @shaneblay1 said Instagram keeps the OG email AND phone number even if you change it

The accounts might be new that hes selling, but the emails given with them aren’t the original.

The verification is showing you the original email for whatever reason (low trustscore during login).

I don’t know who you bought the accounts from, but if they’re the ones that created the accounts… then they’re aware of what fake tlds were used to create the accounts. The fact that he’s playing dumb is sad.

I’ve had a similar problem with a seller as well, the accounts seem to get a Compromised PV about 50% of the time, no matter the proxy. Of course the phone number tied to the account isn’t something we have access to, and it’s the only option for that dialog, so it’s essentially an instant throwaway purchase.

Should probably address them directly if they have a sales topic here @Enguerran, as others may want to know about problems like this popping up when they’re potentially spending lots of money.

Thansk for the feedback.

The name of the seller won’t be shared publicly since he always has been pro and told me he was going to replace me those accounts that can’t get verified.

Well that’s good news at least, hopefully it’s not happening to many others who remain silent.

Sellers that actually care about their product once they sold them are true MVPs! Glad you found someone reliable

It got reverted. This happen sometimes

It’s nice to hear nice words about people you collaborate with, even in situations when something doesn’t work for you  Glad to hear that you will get these accounts replaced
