Very good point @mozem actually I was thinking exactly the same thing. This might leave a huge pattern, as all the executions are being done on the same time of the day, day in and day out.
Personally I stick with the operational intervals.
Gotta admit I did try using manually created intervals for a while, I did not experience any blocks back then, but then the same idea as you mention here hit me, and I went back to using operationals, as those seem more randomish
This is super useful and I’m sure a lot of inspiration can come from it, but I think this needs to be reiterated.
Copy and pasting someone else’s Jarvee settings, is the mother of all bad ideas. Especially Aaron Ward’s, especially now. (as he himself will tell you)
Just remember to come up with your own little tricks and random tactics.
If you want I can pass you a family / travel account … let’s see if you do 700 follow a day …
Please do not worry and copy any setting, we can ALL use the same and never will be detected, we are just a minuscule part of the platform and guys use a bit of common sense, do you know the size of IG? do you know how many transactions per second? We are talking in the order of billions. To have an idea on how amazing this technology is, check this interesting site:
https://www.internetlivestats.com/one-second/#instagram-band
And think how many ppl is using the app at any given second!
Mind-blowing!!!
Hey everyone is anybody having a problem with ‘search took more than 20 minutes and was aborted’? I’m getting this a lot lately and have deleted the sources and re-added them. I’m using Jarvee’s blacklisted words list wondering if that is causing the issue.
I actually have my accounts on the randomized interval function. Smooth sailing so far
That’s why I own a lot of facebook stocks.
I have same problem like a week, still not solve yet.
yes but not lately, it started around a week before the first blocks of July. When I’ve asked they said that the filters were too selective but was always the same filters and honestly were anything special. I didn’t have truly solved.
Yeah same issue here but weird thing is I have several VPS and it’s only a problem on one of them.
i seen this too
You need to take out some of your filters since you tighten up too much the search and it takes above 20 mins for scraping and that’s why is aborted.
These settings are not too bad just make sure to only do one action imo, so do follows one day pause then unfollow the next day etc.
mah dunno I’ve some doubt it’s a problem of too tight filters, moreover at some point certain filters are so basics or related with you audience that you can’t remove them.
I’ve seen on a target account of 590k followers based in US with a majority of female as audience, that on 10.162 users there was just 1 matching these filters:
- female
- image avatar
- english speaker
- minimum number of 10 posts
- no invalid words
- below 700 followings
- post in the last 10 days
- no business accounts
- no pvt users
I mean, 10k users it starts to be a number that make you think is strange that suddenly you have problems to find users with such basic filters.
Completely agree I added an account with 10 million followers and still got this back.
I would remove this:
- minimum number of 10 posts
and - post in the last 10 days
This increase the searching time very much
the first one was brought to 4 it didn’t change anything, if I remove it what’s the point to follow someone with 0 posts?
The second meh, if you remove it will not you have people less active and so this will not help with the general engagement of your page?
Man, scraping and counting posts takes a lot of time for Jarvee. That is what stretches the time for scraping. Don’t worry about this, there are people that just like to follow and engage with others and not have posts, right? Actually, you don’t want a follower more interested in his content then in his followings’ content. Just remove it, trust me.
I had this problem before too and i was getting mad how its possible on 20-30k users there are few who are passing filters. Software is not that advanced and checking for all filters is not so easy task for Jarvee. I think @mrspuf is correct remove that filter post in 10 days and min 10 posts, or i would increase post in the last 10 days >> 30 days, and below 700 following put it to higher number maybe 2.000. Then try and see how it goes
There are many people, specially young girls that only keep 3 or 4 pictures, which are not usually current, I know this because I follow several young girls and I see how they use the platfor, this is why.
Also they upload new photos and delete old ones regularly and they keep few posts. They mainly upload stories, so probably your filters are too aggressive for this accounts anyway. Like others have said, 700 followings for girls is nothing, they follow lots of celebrities and fashion bloggers, up to 2000 is a good metric. Try to disable the ones I´m mentioning.
Also remember, if you don´t have a name list, is very hard for Jarvee to guess who is a female, pretty useless if you search it without it.
This are my current filters:
