Don’t your posts take a while for the promotion to be approved? So the engagements from the promotion won’t come till hours after you post, probably after the first critical hour where engagement push your post to top of hashtag.

This is correct, however I have a feeling that applying for promotion sort of whitelists your post. Also, I use other strategies to boost engagement within the first hour.

Only Italy, but you have a point on adding third world countries in the very first times you’re promoting after a hard block. I’m kinda stubborn on keeping my profile with top-notch followers only though, because they are more likely to be turned into potential clients eventually. That’s why I only use Italy.
