I don’t know if this is just me, but whenever I click on a hashtag or search one, no posts show up. Is this a glitch or is something wrong with my account? It just started happening a few minutes ago I think

Reasons:
- Account is pretty new (or just created)
- You used banned/semi-banned hashtags
- You used new hashtags that are not in the database (it will take up to 2 weeks to process)

Or you are shadow banned.

These are hashtags I am not using. None of the hashtags are in my posts. There are zero posts showing up. Even the most general hashtags are now showing up if someone searches them. It is also happening to other people’s accounts
If I was shadowbanned I could still see other people’s posts. There are no posts showing up when I search any random hashtag

Is this via the app or desktop? It’s definitel a bug.

It is a update bug / glitch as far as people have told me . This is 3rd party information so please don’t make me reliable on it .

This is what I see on desktop.
They link to a FAQ that basically says when people spam a popular hashtag they will remove the recent posts and only show the top 9.
I just checked on a different account on mobile and it doesn’t show anything besides the newly hashtag story at the top.

So only the top 9 will show up? That makes no sense why IG would do that
Me and my clients are experiencing the same via mobile today. Its most probably a glitch from Insta

Yeah I’m experiencing it too, peeps all over Twitter talking about it as well.
Maybe this is a new feature by IG to really kill off all and any engagement?
Update: It seems to be working again. At least for now. Hopefully it doesn’t do that again
Yes I noticed this exact thing today too. Seems like a bug but could also be some shadowban thing they are testing.
If it’s affecting hundreds of thousands of people worldwide then it’s probably just a bug. Hopefully it’s not accompanied by other things.
