MUDs are amazing, it’s a shame they are such a dying genre with so much rich culture and gameplay. I guess you never used macros? 
I’ve actually never typed correctly. My fingers are never “in position” on the keyboard. I just know where the keys are because I’m a bloody geek. I type pretty fast though.

The MUD I played on didn’t really allow macros iirc. They did allow aliases
And yes I guess if a little over 30 is old then yes I am old 
Back when I was more into programming I typed at around 250 wpm. Now I don’t do that much coding, so I’m at 180-200 wpm. This is of course on pc and with a mechanical keyboard. On phone I’m slow.
The highest WPM ever recorded was 216. But okay chief.
No, it’s not. Where did you heard this? There are people that type at 300+ wpm.
i type pretty quickly but my spelling is terrible!
Nah, I don’t believe that article. On my best days I can go up to 420 wpm.
420 wpm 69 paragraphs a minute.
