Royalties aren’t profit after Amazon Ads, covers, editing, production, refunds, and taxes; show a sustained period, book-level sales, ad spend, and whether $800 is an average or one unusually strong day.

Agreed here. Going back on these things I see the claims and anyone can make claims and it’s just nonsense a lot of the time.
