If you are on desktop and only using IG to post 5 images a day (each image being up to 1 MB) and nothing else, about how much data will you be using per day or month? Would 1 GB a month cover this?

Not many, possibly more than a gb if its movies or hq pics being posted. Or you can use wifi.
You could use a free version of gologin and use 3 seperate browsers.

As far our experiences go - account that has a 2 hour sessions use around 1-1.5GB/day.
