How much to charge for Instagram Sponsorship for large company?

So today I was emailed by a marketing agency working for a company worth over $1B asking what my rates are. The account they are interested in has just over 100k followers with engagement rate currently at 4% (this goes up and down between 3% and 8%).

I usually ignore people requesting shutouts on this account because $100-$200 is usually their budget and the account is already making money, so it is not enough to risk saturating the account. Should I charge these people the same way I would anyone else? Or do I ask for more as they may have a very heavy pocket? I am kind of lost…

They specifically want:

  • 1x IG story 2 frame minimum (1 video and 1 screenshot of in-app card)
  • 1x IG feed post carousel of 2 images (1 being screenshot of in-app)
  • a giveaway with my product worth $150 (to encourage people to take action)

I look forward to some solid advice

I always try to find everything I can about the company before I give them price, I have different prices for every client, if I think they can pay more I send them bigger price, and always leave some room for discount so they think “they got a good deal”.

The account is highly personalized and niched down, it also is attached to a blog and is selling it’s own products. I am currently thinking of telling them at it will cost 2k - 2.5k for everything they want. What do you think of this price? It will include me creating written content and taking a video with their product to persuade my audience + one of my products valued at $150.

Well to be honest I have no idea how are prices for shoutouts going right now, I didn’t sell shoutout for like 2 years. I sell only growth service that doesn’t include shoutouts. Sometimes you have clients that have millions and they won’t pay more then $500 monthly even if you promise them 10k growth in a month or whatever they want. They just don’t want to spend above that, and some new firms will spend $500 without asking any questions (then I think myself damn I should charge them much more haha). I would try to check if they have anything on their profile that you can connect with some other influencer /page like yourself that sold them simillar service. Check posts they were tagged in, and if you see some pages that tagged them, then they probably bought shoutouts from them. Contact those pages first and check how much they charge. Then you will know how much money they payed and if you think the price is good and it’s worth of your time, then I would charge like 15-20% more then that, and then you have like 10% space to give them discount.

wtf hahah, I should get back to the shoutouts, what kind of page do you run, what niche? Back when I was selling shoutouts I was happy when people wanted to buy shoutouts for $50-$150 for 80-100K followers and good er

Offered 2k and their response seems promising, they’re requesting approval from their client and will get back to me with the next steps.
