If you manage multiple accounts, using a proxy is necessary, in fact, it is a must if you want to avoid account suspension. Here are some tips I have collected on choosing the right proxy for different websites that you may find useful.
1. Use a clean proxy
A clean proxy means that it has not been blacklisted by the website or platform. In addition, a proxy that is blacklisted on website A may still work fine on website B.
For example, if a proxy is blacklisted on Facebook, you can still use it to run a TikTok account.
2. Use a residential proxy
Residential proxies are more trustworthy than data center proxies because they come from real home IPs and therefore look more like real users.
3. Use a dedicated proxy instead of a shared IP
The fewer people using an IP, the better. IPs shared by multiple people are harder to control and more likely to be banned due to the actions of others.
4. Use static IPs and rotate IPs
For account maintenance, static IP is better, because frequent IP changes are more likely to arouse suspicion. You can also use a combination of static IP and rotating IP to maintain your account, as follows:
Initially use a static proxy for a few days in a row, and then switch to a rotating proxy for 1-2 days.
This behavior is similar to a real user who mainly logs in with a fixed home IP, but occasionally uses a mobile 3G/4G network outdoors. This will make your activities look more natural on the site.
