Here are some tools that you can try for downloading IG photos and videos
This one is web based: DownloadGram
There’s also android app you can use for this purpose.
You can use it if you prefer to download posts and post them by using IG app on phone: InstaSave

Download JDownloader http://jdownloader.org and Copy the Instagram URL. The Program detect this and download easy all Image from this Account.
Note: Normally I use the program to download movies, but I have noticed with the mentioned method, its possible to download Instagram pictures.

Here’s the one I use for Chrome extension. It allows you to download the entire page’s original photos and videos to a folder, or one by one. And it’s free 
If you don’t want to install any third party application, or extensions to your browser, the easiest way is to use the “Inspect” tool on Instagram. Open up the picture on Instagram, right click on the image and choose “Inspect”. You’ll find the link to the actual image file in the div class above the one that’s highlighted in the pane that appears (you have to hit the triangle icon next to the div class name).
Sounds a little complicated, but really simple once you figure it out.

I love to use DownAlbum extension for Chrome Browser it can download Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, Ask.fm, Weibo Album.
It’s definitely the easiest and fastest way @vigneshvr mentioned. I use it for at least a year. This way you don’t have to use a 3rd party service (which can contain malware, tracking ads etc…)

Download the tutuapp its a third party app it might revoke sign it again.
Go to > safari > search > tutuapp > download free one
in my experience Dinsta is the most straightforward but can only handle photos.
the cleverly named Instagram Video Downloader is almost exactly the same but can do video and is equally un-bloated.

Allavsoft provides two methods to download instagram videos: Method 1: Copy and paste the video or music url to Allavsoft and click Download button; Method 2: Record.
I can second this opinion. It’s great!
