Yeah a few times lately. My suspicions are that they realize it was an automated ban that they somehow know is incorrect based on previously reactivating the account through the selfie process.
or they’re just sloppy

Just keep filing appeals. I’ve recovered multiple accounts this month that were denied from the process multiple times.

It’s tough now that my phone is also banned, can’t even login/create a new legit account with it. Gonna factory reset when I’m back at home from a trip and see if a fresh device id will at least allow a new account to go through.
It’s actually really crazy, never had issues like this in years, never a problem recovering actual bad accounts, but now my only 2 really legit personal one’s tied to my real name and FB are dead. And my phone. Fuhh.
My phone was banned last year for a bit. It happened after an account that was logged into my phone got deactivated.
Waited a week, factory reset, and it worked.

did you find a good way to send them that info?
I also did not file it as a business account and don’t have these documents.
Okay so i deleted an IG account by mistake, and turns out you cant get it back (like a facebook account).
When I go into the IG help centre, I cant put in my username because its not a banned account, it was deleted. When i type in the username, it says the account doesnt exist.
I tried to email support@instagram.com however i recieved a direct respons saying that email is no longer used.
Any sugestions at all?

Recently took 1-2 weeks till they reply with either:
- account reactivated (80%)
- account unable to be reactivated (15%)
- account needs further confirmation of identity (5%)
So I have been sitting back on this for months. I had given up on my account that was banned. I tried all email combos and I wasn’t even getting any replies from IG. I reset my phone today and low and behold I was able to login, verify my phone and bam I am back up and running. Now do I start my f/uf campaign again?

I’ve seen anywhere from 2 weeks or the next day.
I’m also trying to get an account unbanned and tried doing this. They sent the code/picture email to my alias but I’m only able to reply with my normal email and not the alias.
Its been 2 days sending emails with pictures but no luck so far.
When you say “no luck”, did you get a response of any type?
If not, did you not get a response after the initial appeal or after sending in the picture?
After the initial appeal, when I filled out the form on Instagram, they would send the code to my email and I’ve been submitting pictures to them as requested. But no response from them after sending in the pictures so far.
How many times did you do that total?
How many days are you waiting for the response already?
