I need help monetising my tech account through amazon affiliate links

Most of the products I post about are from amazon, so I would like to use affiliate links.
However, Wordpress shut down my previous site, due to the fact that they said my content wasn’t “original” (your site is only for making money).

Any tips where i can put my affiliate links without getting shut down ?

I already have my own domain name

If you used Wordpress in the past, I assume that it was a free Wordpress website on wordpress.org ? If Wordpress works for you why not host your own websites ?

On for example vultr.com you can order a vps. It will cost you $ 2.50 or $ 5 a month. I use the $ 5 a month vps. Install Ubuntu 16.04 on it. It is 5 minutes.

On this vps you install ispconfig. This is a free control panel with everything included. You can use the instructions on:

or on: https://www.howtoforge.com/tutorial/ispconfig-automated-install-script/

The second link is the faster way. But if you are starting it is maybe better to use the first link. It will teach you more and give insight on what you are doing.

And there you have it. For $ 2.50 or $ 5.00 a month you can host unlimited websites yourself. There are lots of instructions about how to install a Wordpress website on your own webhosting. Cheap domains you can get on namecheap, they sometimes have interesting offers like domains for $ 0,50 for the first year. On freenom.com you can register free .tk .ga .gq and other domains.

If you want to put links in IG profiles you can hide the IP of your own server by using cloudflare.com. And if you really want to host many many wordpress websites you can use the network version of Wordpress. It will give you all your websites in 1 Wordpress control panel.

The $ 5 VPS from Vultr is enough for thousands of visitors a day, and when using cloudflare even much more.

I was thinking about writing a complete setup manual. But do not know if it is worth the time. For me the above seems to be very easy.

Alot of the complicated configs are not picked up by most people here on the forum so i’m not sure if it’s worth your time either. The best way is just to direct them to wordpress hosting. Shared hosting can sustain occasional 100 hits per day anyway and aggressive caching can sustain 1k hits also.

Also, for wp i used cloudways for some projects before, because it’s like the easiest way to host wp on a vps.

Cloudways seems to be nice! I see that you can even choose the Wordpress multi site option. With Cloudways/Vultr you can have almost unlimited Wordpress hosting for $ 7,20… Only for the bigger packages they are much more expensive.
