IG app keeps crashing!

Hello,

As the title says, just to be more accurate 5-6 days ago I updated my IG app on my phone and since than I can’t open it.

Every time I tried to open it, app initiate opening and then just crash.

I also went through some of the comments at the Google Play store and there is also a lot of reports with the same or similar problem.

Does anyone else have this kind of issues and any suggestion about how to fix it?

All I tried so far is to clear cache, data & few fresh reinstalls.

Can you give us more details please? OS version? Device? etc?

Thank you for your reply.

Yeah it’s one of my “older” phones but as I said I never had any kind of issues until few days ago.

OS version is Android 4.2, Samsung S4.

If you need any other information let me know.

It happened on my S4 too with the latest version. I downgraded to com.instagram.android_v108.0.0.23.119-169474957_Android-4.4.apk
to and disabled auto update.
