IGAudit is useless. All it does it tell you the % of the 200 followers it scanned what it thought was fake. No indication of what followers it tracked or what criteria it uses. Maybe it thinks any account with < 50 posts is a fake account…or maybe only accounts that follow Justin Bieber are considered real. Who knows
Scanning 200 followers of even a 10,000+ account tell you very little. Even if you scan multiple times you still don’t know the criteria nor do you know if it’s rescanning parts of the same follower group. Ie you could scan the account 50 times but it only checked the data for 500 followers altogether and kept just scanning based on that pool of 500.
It might be good to use as a sales tactic to try to convince a client you can help improve their account but the accuracy of any of the auditing sites is questionable at best and completely misleading at worst.
Can you please be helpful with a decent way to actually spot a profiles followers or followings being genuine or real? Any specific criterias you would say are good indications to look for? That’ll be highly appreciated?
I have used this as a sales technique before and it has worked. I did not know it only scans 200 followers at the time though. Probably won’t use it knowing that now.
