But they probably checked you through Google and saw some nice articles, interests, Wiki page … To show you’re not someone average, might have fake profiles or fan pages, and that people would like to follow.

No they’re not. There are agencies that offer PR packages. They will write in forbes, yahoo, daily mail, you name it and then submit you for verification. I’ve seen it happen first hand.
Of course if someone is saying they’ll verify a random nobody with no press whatsoever, it’s common knowledge to stay well clear.

I have read that verified accounts do not have that many problems with following, liking, etc.
IG gives them much more credibility.

Damnit. It’s funny the kids comments are only full with questions asking how much to sell the name and he won’t even sell for $5k.
I do have two other ones that are inactive however that I’d be interested in acquiring.

The only automation I run on my account anymore is liking/story viewing and I occasionally get the ‘please wait’ notification but I don’t do anything else I’m trying to build my trust score so my reach is higher.
