IG-WEB Explore tag is no longer available without login

My scrapping processes that get data from https://www.instagram.com/explore/tags/yourhashtag/ stopped working this midnight, getting me an “Internal server error” on IG side.
ClientError: HTTPError “Internal Server Error” while opening https://www.instagram.com/graphql/query/?variables={“tag_name”%3A"%22%2C%22show_ranked%22%3Afalse%2C%22first%22%3A16%7D&query_hash=f92f56d47dc7a55b606908374b43a314

I think is directly derived to that endpoint authorization protection. Has anybody been also hit by this new issue?

After quick look, yes, I have the same thing :expressionless:

My network can still access it without login…

IP based block. try change as many useragents.

I don’t think so, different ip-useragent, same result. I’m pretty sure that is related to secured explore feature…

After a few tests, it looks like an IP blocker, I have ones that work and those that don’t. Some work again after a few hours of rest.
The situation looks similar to downloading account data.

It seems it’s accessible without login again (I’ve checked with several ip-useragent-country combinations). Same there?

I’ve noticed too that I can no longer browser more than 40 posts from any user via the web without getting prompted to login. I assume it is roughly the same for scraping.

I just tested on a proxy from the US, nothing has changed.

Yep, it should be definitively a kind of IP blocker. I have the same issues, with some proxy it works and with some not! I also read that Instagram is going to hide any public information without login, but also here I think it’s still with an IP blocker
