DMs are now available in web browser and I noticed this change just 10 minutes ago. Thought it might be helpful for you too.
I am super happy that I can finally send DMs from PC

still have to use the bloody IG Windows app on desktop!
I see it as well… what are the limits nowadays, 25-30?
Have it for weeks! nothing new.
@EauDeBo use https://desktop-for-ig.devanco.com/ also there are many browser’s extensions, or even rendering the page with a different device site from dev tools.

Has anyone lost the ability to access their DMs in the browser? I no longer have the search function on my browser or the mail icon anymore. The only way I can access my messages is by typing in the specific URL in the browser.
Edit: It seems that it affects some accounts but not others, very weird.
Its the user agent. Some have an inbox. Some don’t.

Have you tried reducing the size of your browser? Some of the options are showing if you are using a smaller browser size.
Interesting, I have not but will give this a try next time. I opted for just manually adding the specific direct message link in the browser tab but that’s obviously not the most convenient thing to do.
