Instagram affected by change of name on Facebook

Hi everyone, I was doing pretty well on Instagram and then I decided to change my name on Facebook which is linked to Instagram and suddenly my engagement rate dropped dramatically. Has anybody experienced that? Is there anything I can do? I have to say that I don’t want to go back to my previous name. Thanks

Try posting something similar to posts that got the most engagement. Increase activity related to engaging with other accounts’ posts. If you use any third-party service for getting more followers and similar, disconnect it.

Hi LisaJ,

I have tried that few times but I didn’t work. I have even started thinking that I have been shadow banned but it’s been 14 weeks since the change of my name. From that time I have been experiencing the drop and it’s getting worse. Do you think I could write to Instagram but will it help?
