Even the softwares developers told to do that, in this same topic is their answer:
"Yes, reset device ID helps in some cases.
Our developers are still investigating this and trying to find a solution if there’s one.
We will be more than happy to continue to assist you once we receive your reply."
" Thank you for your email.
Please try to reset your account’s device ID and see if the problem still persists. In order to reset the device ID, please go to Social Profiles --> Account Settings --> Advanced Profile Settings --> Reset Device ID (can be found at the bottom part of the page).
If you require any further information, feel free to contact us."
This is exactly what I’ve been worried about. Once these follow blocks start coming, I believe the trust score keeps getting lowered. The more you continue to exhaust those accounts by working a way around them to get them back from being blocked, and the more people reset these ID’s, the more the trust score is lowered.
I really think some of these accounts that are getting consistent follow blocks need to be given a rest.
When you say blocks. Do you mean actual blocks or only Api blocks? Have you tried logging onto IG from a browaer or mobile app to check if the profiles work there? That’ll be the smartest thing to do first. Find out if the profile is entirely blocked or if it is only on your automation software
Word! Agree also it is very difficult to know why people are getting these blocks. Mostly people provide no information. Atleast we gotta see screenshots of the settings. You may be hittikg your profiles hard. When they say low settings even 200 follows a day can be hard if you do 200 follows in 4 hours.
Ok I’m testing this now with EB and will let you know about it!!
I agree with you and did that for almost 72h for some accounts but they got blocked in API 24h after restarting with really very conservative settings!!
Yes I have done all of the above. Nothing work for more then 2 days. The block will come back. I am having these api block for 4-5 days already. At the beginning was only 2 of of 120. Then everyday few more account will hit this block, and now 70% been hit. I have tried almost everything.
When api block I switch to eb and I realize after eb block again I can switch back to api and often it will work again. Only when api and eb both block I’ll have to rest id.
But even then it will only run for half day/one day before the block appears again.
Everything working perfect on Instagram mobile app.
I’m currently testing 50 follows per day via EB, 4-6 follows with 90 to 120 seconds wait time in between each follow, with 60-90 minutes wait between every operation. Will keep you guys updated
I totally Agree as I have the block with various accounts types settings and proxies!!
All we can do know is try to keep going via EB until we get the tools updated, If you have important accounts better stop all and wait!! only keep trying with accounts you can afford to lose!!
And I think you’re doing a great job from what you’ve been posting. What I worry about is that if people keep repeating these actions over and over, that accounts can get disabled. It’s happening to people already. We’ve seen it across this forum. How many follow blocks do you think it’s gonna take before Instagram says “that’s it?” I’m just saying. It seems like a game of Russian Roulette here with client accounts.
Ok this is necessarely not bad news. As long as the profile it self can operate normally, then you are on the safe side. As I see it for now, and tge testing I am doing, everything seems like the number of requests being sent to IG can vary from setting to settings. I have a couple of test accounts. Those with few filters set seem to run smoothly, but those with many filters set seem to hit blocks. We gotta remember every option and filter extra chosen for a profile means extra requests been sent to IG.
I am trying to figure out. I will share my 2 cent of knowlegde here too with you guys
Do you have a terms of service to your clients? What says there? Do they know the risks right? Well with that said…
What is your work? Wait for solutions or find them yourself? And if you do not have accounts to test them something is wrong, PLEASE DO NOT TEST WITH CUSTOMERS ACCOUNTS.
I’m testing with accounts running ads, not running ads and also slaves, even the slaves that I reset ID 4 times still not banned, from clients accounts max I’ve reseted was once.
Let’s say… Next days I can tell you more, but there is too much myths I guess and most importantly, I see people afraid to test and waiting answers.
Whether you have a terms of service or not, it’s just about ethics and client retention. Regardless, I agree that there are too many myths. And I just think it’s important to always highlight to do these things on test accounts. You seem to be doing this on test accounts. Others here are playing with fire and they’re gonna get burned.
That’s them doing mistakes, you can’t do that, and If you do, your clients should know.
First things first, if your client get banned and he is a real person with a real account, they will recover it back as many does but yet DO NOT USE CLIENTS ACCOUNTS FOR RISKY TESTING, play safe with them and with the results of the test accounts.
