Sorry for the angry title, but this is ridiculous.

I have an account close to 10k doing well, and IG has decided to block me from posting until January 2nd because “giving your account name to 3rd parties for likes and followers is against our terms of service”

Cool. I DON’T USE ANY 3RD PARTY APPS. The most I’ve done is sign up for influencer.co.

Account is a year old. I had used a followers app before the restrictive updates, but have since uninstalled it. All I do is post videos and pictures. I don’t even manually f/u anymore. Haven’t done that in months. I don’t even comment often on posts. I like, answer dms here and there, and post consistantly.

Anyone else experience this? Unreal man.

5 months ago? That’s the last time I used it. If they’re retroactively punishing people for that… that’s just harsh.

I can also just send some fake followers to your account and you will get blocked, anyone can do that.

IG is going downward, the only problem is that there is no other good alternative option
