We have this client that manages multiples accounts by himself, this week he got a lot fo phone verifications from IG, he managed to verify all his accounts but today he tried to use the same numbers again for new verifications and never got the code from IG.
So far he did 2 account verifications per SIM card, do you know how much he must wait to use again the same number, how is your experience with this?
Note: he tried the 3rd verifcation with 3 numbers(SIMs) on 3 different accounts, none got the code. All SIM cards were brand new from a good telco.(bought them 2 days ago)
Weird, only 2 accounts per SIM and no more code sent by IG on those accounts ?
For testing purposes, i would advise to try an other phone number (like temporary ones) on 1 account from those accounts who don’t receive any code, and see if it works.
You can typically use the same number twice in a rolling 7 day period. Any attempts at using it beyond that will usually result in no code being sent.
Also IG has been having real issues with PVs recently in that there are times PVs for a country don’t work at all for hours (especially for UK based numbers). It eventually starts working again but if there’s times you’re not getting any codes even with fresh numbers you might just need to wait some time for IG to get their crap together again.
