Any idea how long shadowbans last or how to remove them? Particularly in regard to “misinformation” flags? (they were fact checking jokes)
I have read that some went back to a normal activity for the account and it got better after a few months. But I never tried
Ive had them lots on my bigger accounts. They go away randomly but you have to stop doing the thing that caused it.
I was spamming the same hashtags (getting 1mil+ reach) and then got shadow banned and couldn’t hit explorer or hashtags. I stopped using them and just posted normally. A few months later I started hitting explorer again so I brung back hashtags sparingly.
Another account got shadow banned when I used ninja gram on it and went too hard. The reach went down heaps after a week long follow block. (This was the reason I got into MS).

There are no rules, it can last all from couple of days to couple of weeks.
no one have a specific number to say, shadowbans are IG way to tell you we don’t want to block you then remove the block and you getting back to the same behavior, shadow ban comes in play to keep you in the dark, so they are in fact worse then regular block, stop doing what caused them then afer a while they will be gone
