This is being rolled out and tested in Canada.
You will still be able to see the likes your images get in the backend and so will companies.
It’s just so people stop comparing themselves essentially, which ultimatley is rather healthy.

Hey kraad! Check out my thread on this. I am in Canada (which you know) and I’m already experiencing it with clients. You can see it rolled out already there are some screenshots!

While brands may initially question how removing likes will impact their campaign goals, the viability of marketing on Instagram has already been proven. Therefore, I don’t think much will change except the parameters of liking posts.
