Hi my account recently got banned around 2 weeks ago. But I’ve noticed that IG has been taking longer to reply. This could be because of COVID19 but I want to know if anyone else is experiencing the same issue.
How long ago was it when you sent your last appeal? Keep in mind that they do not reply during weekends.
Be more specific.
Are you waiting for the first email to arive?or first email arived,you sent a picture with yourself holding a piece of paper and awaiting reactivation?
We see no increased processing time (besides the usual Weekend) for a few hundred accounts currently. Replies to your appeal mail (with the code) come in around 24-48hrs.
Ive been using Recap Services. The bot that’ll help get the account back. Its been about a week of me using this service and I’m just concerned thats all and thank you all to those who replied much appreciated.
Hello, As am I! What I can say is just not to worry . Time varies for accounts to get unbanned, it can take days, weeks, months or even years! It just depends on so many factors like type of ban, and how Instagram feels when they take a look at your appeal. What you have to keep in mind that it’s all to do with Instagram and it’s up to them if the account gets reactivated or not. During this time with the virus, I think appeals will continue normally without any delay as other memebers have confirmed that appeal still continue to be sent and looked at by Instagram themselves. All you have to do know is sit back and relax and wait until it gets unbanned . Appeals will continue to be sent through recap like normal.
@Thandir
I just want to thank you for the support and help you’ve given and I’ll be waiting hoping one day that my account is restored one day. Also do you know how hard a ban is from being reported by other users because that what I think happened to mine as I didn’t violate anything else under the community guidelines.
No worries dude. I’m always happy to help. I’m not sure about that unfortunately. The only way to really find out if you have a hard ban is by how long it takes for the account to be recovered. The more appeals that get denied the higher the chance it was a hard ban.
