i have opened an account two weeks ago and have been doing F/U to grow it ,now my account has about 800 followers and gets around 250 likes per post (average) but it doesnt get impressions from hashtags i have tried several hashtags some of them gave 50 impressions and the others 0.
Am i shadowbanned ???
If you are still getting likes from hashtags, you’re not, but your reach is super low.
I am guessing you didn’t warm up your account properly, you can’t just start f/u on a brand new account, you need a proper warm up if you want keep a high reach.
Anyway, a low reach is pretty normal while doing f/u

i dont get likes from hashtags, all the likes i get are from people that follow me

Hey, first one lasts for 2 weeks. If you report problem, may be less time.
Usually happens after getting PV (Phone verification). Did you have one?
To know for sure if you are shadow banned, do this:
(Some say this is dangerous, so might want to look at method 2)

post a new post
Add new hashtag like #currentusernamerocks
Click on hashtag, see if it shows the post. If it doesn’t you are shadowbanned.
2 method
OR, use some less popular hashtag, with 5-10k posts and check recents after posting, if your post is showing. You are not shadowbanned. Be sure to check from browser incognito, as it may work from your own account.

i tried method 2 and saw that my post showed at recent, i have tried this before when i had another username and the post didnt showed , do you think changing the username effected ?
Can you clarify your answer/question?
You are saying you changed the username and now posts are showing under recent hashtags?
Or you are saying you looked at the hashtag with a different instagram account and the post is not visible anymore? Meaning it only shows on the account you posted with?

generally i would tend to say no. But I remember you once posted an account with the username leo.messi.op or something similar. So maybe in your specific case you could get reduced reach due to usernames.

Changing the name always effects the ER for couple days until they figure out who it is … Jeez go back to the account and do normal stuff. Expect drop of followers too as some get confused and don’t know or remember if they followed the account.

hashtags don’t get you likes – they give you exposure. it is the content, not hashtags that count.
what range of likes are in the top 9 for your hashtags? 1k or below?
they are 5k and above
If you get less than 1k and they are 5k, you don’t need us yet. You need to grow . see there is a huge difference in what you want and what is
