LMAO The king of pirates is right here. I just finished training in Udon and perfecting advanced armament haki. My boy Zoro got his new sword. But what the hell did just happen at the reverie?

My bad. But please catch up with the manga because a) it’s so much better paced then the anime and b) the following arcs are freaking crazy.
I’ve tried the manga but it doesn’t really capture the action like other mangas (like attack on titan). If rather let the anime play out, sure we aren’t that far behind.
No, I like to rewatch certain scenes in the anime, but the problem with it, is how an episode consists of the opening, 10 minutes of recaps, and 10 minutes of badly paced, dragged out plot. The manga gets straight to the point and leaves out all the fluff.

That’s true, I’m hit and miss with mangas. Some I love, some I hate.

@Swoosh Nah man, trust in GODAs masterplan. He knows how to build a story. I think this is a great plot twist and a possible pathway into OPs endgame (as sad as it is because I want 20 yrs more of the story) but BM/KD alliance is awesome and unexpected.

I watched Season 1 but while the animation was great, I just wasn’t to much of a fan of the story.

Yeah, for sure. The animations during the fight scenes were mindblowing. Also definitely funny. I liked the last few episodes a lot of season 1 were he was fighting against that sea king guy and then the alien overlord. But I am looking forward till he matches with someone stronger than him like godfather Mumen Rider.
